As a former Mortgage Underwriter, I have learned what it takes to get a loan closed. In the end that is what we strive for. I wasn't always a Loan Officer. My experience is a mix of sales, customer service, tech support, and consultative sales powered by my analytical, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking style.

Over the years I have learned from who I believe to be some of the best instructors, mentors, and sales professionals. I have gone through thousands of hours of training, workshops, and personal development from banking to cellular companies to software companies, but my favorite field has always been real estate & lending.

 In 2001 I began working for a national bank where I was trained as a Loan Officer, Underwriter, and Mortgage Loan Processor, as well as purchased my first single-family residence. Just months before becoming a first-time home buyer, I was a renter like most people. I didn't even know that I could buy a house.

I ended up being referred to a Real Estate Agent and that professional introduced me to a Mortgage Loan Officer. Once I submitted all of my paperwork the Mortgage Loan Officer and Real Estate Agent helped me purchase my first property, which led me to invest in two more properties since then. Somewhere in the middle,  I also became a Licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent although I did not feel it was my calling.

Improvement is my driving force. I believe that if your life is not what you want it to be then you can take steps, as small as they may be, towards achieving a better version of your situation - baby steps. A little progress moving in a thoughtful direction will yield a better life for you and those you care for. With that outlook on life, I have not only gotten this far, but am blessed to see others come along with me on this journey.
